Speech and Language Pathology

Speech and Language Pathology is provided by NYS licensed speech-language pathologists (CCC-SLP) who have been certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Associations. Sessions are provided individually or in dyads depending on the needs of the student and are conducted in private offices, the classroom or the community. Speech therapy focuses on expanding our students’ communication abilities through the development of receptive, expressive and pragmatic language skills. The speech-language pathologists utilize all forms of communication with their students, such as nonverbal language, verbal language and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
